LAB

Generative art piece simulating magnetic interactions between colors, forming dynamic pixel worlds. Displayed on a 96×96 LED screen with frosted
glass for an organic, microscope-like effect.

Presented at the RRGGBB exhibition at CICA Vancouver – an artificial environment where a simple rule drives seemingly complex worlds.

Each group of colors has its own attraction or repulsion toward the others, so every pixel behaves like a magnet. A slight change in those relations forms an entirely new system with its own dynamics.

There’s a browser tool to play with it – do your own pixel research at lab.ksawerykomputery.pl.
