Cellule / Cellular
In February 2022, Jakub and I were invited by Umanesimo Artificiale to Ancona, Italy, to participate in art+b=love(?) – a festival that combines biology, technology, and art.
We created a light installation that served as a screen for a 5-minute generative animation based on cellular automata algorithms, tightly synced with an incredible sound design by Emanuele Balia. The animation was divided into five chapters, each representing a different system of the body – immune, nervous, cognitive, respiratory, and circulatory – with the aim of evoking the impression of artificial life.
