Cellule & Cellular Automata

In February 2022 me and Jakub Kirklewski got invited by Umanesimo Artificiale to Ancona (IT) to take part in art+b=love(?) – a festival that combines biology, technology and art.

We built a light installation which was a screen for 5 minutes long generative animation, based on cellular automata algorithms, and synced tightly with amazing sound designed by Emanuele Balia. The story was divided into 5 chapters, referring to different systems of a body – immune, nervous, cognitive, respiratory, and circulatory – with the aim to make an impression of an artificial life.
